Ricky Martin to Star in New NBC Show

It’s true: Ricky Martin will be shaking his bon-bon in his very own television series.

NBC Universal Television has signed a deal with the multi-platinum recording artist that will allow the Puerto Rican star to star in his first network television series and develop one-of-a-kind small screen specials, Bela Bajaria, Executive Vice President of Universal Television, announced in a press release.

Ricky Martin to perform in Sunday’s Tony Awards

NEW YORK (AP) — The Tony Awards will be heavy on showcasing works on Broadway this season, with performances from Ricky Martin, Raul Esparza, Audra McDonald, Matthew Broderick and the casts of “Godspell” and “Ghost The Musical,” among many others.

Ricky Martin had some nice things to say about President Obama as the co-host of a fundraiser for his campaign at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York. Find out why he thanked the President at this $5,000 a ticket event. 

Ricky Martin is headlining at a gay and Latino fundraiser tonight for President Obama in New York City.  ”I believe Barack Obama has shown a deep conviction to help those most in need, even if their voices are not always the ones heard the loudest in Washington,” said Martin to Univision. The LGBT Leadership Council and the Futuro Fund event will be held at the Rubin Museum of Art tonight.  Tickets vary from $5,000 as a guest to $35,800 for a chair, which includes a private reception and a photo opp.
