Latina Encourages Women To Put On Heels And Do The Vixen Workout

Would you twerk at the gym? One Latina, Janet Jones has created the Vixen Workout- an hour-long cardio class made up of a variety hip-hop dance moves, usually done in high heels. The class uses popular songs to teach various choreographies that mimic the performance of video vixens.  

But Jones says the Vixen Workout is also about empowering women and giving them a space where they can express themselves. “Its easy to get lost as a woman because we have so many roles and so many responsibilities,” Jones says. “But I’m blessed enough to use the Vixen Workout to let every women realize how important they are.”
